Thrasher's 2014 Tired Skateboards video, a team of older and self-described washed-up skaters. It was shot around King of the Road, Firing Line and Double Rock, and features Brad Staba, Jason Hernandez and Joey Digital.

Why skaters like it

Posted to older and returning skaters asking if it is too late to start or restart. It is seen as a reminder that skating is for everyone, not just the best.

No [VIDEO]. I also like the description, "Some of us had it, then lost it. Most of us never had it, but still love it. This video is for you... and you too. Welcome to the team."

It's only been a couple months man. I haven't landed a shuv yet this year, I still keep trying... I had them almost on lock in the Fall but the winter break made my muscle memory forget. Does that make me want to quit? Not really, I just work on other stuff... When I get frustrated I just roll around and do manual / nose manual attempts, or just cruise. Skateboarding is hard as fuck... That's why we keep coming back.

I would get a wide deck 8.5-9.25 with wide tricks Independent 149-169 and some wide wheels Like Spitfire Big heads or Formula four Conical Full that will help with stability. And watch lots of Tired videos. [VIDEO] and have a blast

Here's some old fat bastards tearing it up [VIDEO]. Also, if you want a really stable feel but still flip-able, look at old school re-issues or nice wide 9"+ decks (Creature, Powell, Tired, Welcome, Santa Cruz, Assault, Z-Flex). I'm young and skinny but I ride a 9.125" deck (Welcome "necromancer"). Shit just feels good, especially on tranny, and I can still do flips tricks just the same.

Check out the Tired Skateboards. [VIDEO] That is if you like to watch fat old white people dodging major back issues and avoiding spleen lacerations before during and after "tricks".
