Yeah, I mean Nike muscled their way into the skate scene too, but Cariuma are just kinda shitty. For one, the shoes look pretty dogshit to me, but they do other shit like greenwash their products, use real corporate marketing tactics, send hundreds of pairs to skater ‘influencers’ and don’t allow local skate shops to sell Cariuma shoes. They basically do fuck all to contribute back to skating, whereas Nike and other

Theyre a corporation trying to take over the skate industry, they support contest skaters and influencers that dont put out footage, they dont make videos, which goes very much against traditional skate culture. [VIDEO] some video explaining a bit
