Why skaters like it
Linked in winter threads when skaters wonder if snowskates are worth trying and whether falling on snow makes committing to tricks less scary.
“I feel like they would be a lot of fun and I'd be a lot less scared of committing due to just falling on snow.”

What skaters said on Reddit
The ski season coming up (I'm living near the Alps in the south of france), I was at first thinking of buying myself a snowboard. But then I thought, what the hell, I'm doing skateboarding, I don't want to be tied up to a board. So I discovered the existence of snowskate. Has anyone of you tried that before? I think I would dig it, any recommendation on what board I should get? EDIT: Video [VIDEO]
