I don't think it's fair to say one style takes more skill than the other, it's all preference of what you like to do or watch. Personally I prefer creativity because that's what pushes skating in new directions. Ben Fisher [VIDEO] had my favorite 2UP entry by a mile because he made setups that no one else came up with and did some crazy tricks on them (switch wallie to switch manual switch fs shove out, Caballerial to manual on the bank propped on the quarter). I enjoy technical skating if there's some creativity to it and not just the most insane flip in/flip out ledge combo. There's still a lot of things to be done in skateboarding although the list is getting smaller. For example: Matt Bennett does some unorthodox grinds in his True Blue part [VIDEO] like the front 180 switch front feeble and back 180 switch back feeble 180 out. Danny Montoya put out one of the craziest 1 minute sections I've ever seen for X Games Real Street [VIDEO] a few years ago. Nollie back 180 to switch fs Smith 180 out is just a mindfuck of a trick. Preston Harper does some ridiculous stuff in his newest part [VIDEO] like a nose manual to nollie back lip to manual back 180 out, and kickflip nose manual to…
