Paul Rodriguez plays Jonny Giger in a game of SKATE in round 1 of Battle at The Berrics 7, Pros vs Joes. Giger got in through an open call video submission.

Why skaters like it

Short flatground game with a pro against an open-call underdog, which is the Pros vs Joes hook of BATB7. Easy to watch in four minutes.

Welp. I'm still not 100% on this BUT...after the onslaught of downvotes (lol) I've learned that...tentatively: IF the skater in the posted video is Goofy then its a fakie BACKSIDE heelflip. If hes regular then its a nollie FRONTSIDE heelflip. Although there's conflicting evidence from credible sources, no offense to other skaters on YT out there, but I found vids of PRO skaters rather than randos in their driveway... So here goes: Here's [VIDEO] Jonny Giger showing how I originally (I still kinda do) think it is. No matter weather its nollie OR fakie the spin name changes, supporting my comment. Someone said he made a mistake in the naming but Jonny consistently calls it this way for all his "4 way trick videos" where he does tricks in all stances. Here's [VIDEO] a (hopefully) timestamped video of Paul Rodriguez doing a "nollie frontside 180 kickflip" at BATB supporting your original comment. Here's [VIDEO] a (hopefully) timestamped video of Chris Cole doing a "halfcab kickflip" at BATB also supporting your original comment. and to make things even more confusing. Here's [VIDEO] a Berrics Trickepedia video of Jimmy Carlin doing a "frontside half cab heel" and is spinning the *oppos…

What happens when you try to measure Giger against a real pro: [VIDEO] (and he's by far the best dude on Revive) I appreciate how Revive is the first brand to really embrace social media, but their product has gotten worse rather than better over time. Andy Shrock is the worst kind of douche too. He's an an annoying asshole and at the same time completely boring.
