Check out stu graham and jeff grosso, both big guys that are 200lbs + Here's a photo of me smithing a bowl in Florida. I'm not the best but I am about 260, I have also skated for nearly 20 years and was once skinny haha [LINK] [VIDEO] [VIDEO]

There’s plenty of skaters bigger than you. Look at Jeff Grosso: [VIDEO] Some companies make thicker, more durable decks for heavy skaters. Check out Real heavyweight boards. But 235 isn’t especially heavy, so you could probably start with a normal board, at least until you get good enough to start jumping down 5-stairs and stuff.
