What skaters said on Reddit
I understand, that's why I upvoted you, your wording was funny. I was responding with encouragement using ridiculous vocabulary to be funny. *It wasn't meant to mock you*. I'm sure Ed Templeton was mocking the current state of skateboarding in 1998 after Jaime Thomas' Leap of Faith. I was mocking the simplicity of falling to the ground versus technical innovation. It's finally my day off after a full week of work so I just decided to stay up deliriously late and ramble off the top of my head. I seemed to respond like an ass because you seemed to take me seriously. Now I hope you can take all this info and form a new perspective. Have you seen Jump off a building? Bam was at a height of progression for his drop ins. The ender at Encinitas Civic Center [VIDEO] is a dive bomb. Aaron Harrison ollied in a year before [VIDEO], Omar Salazar took a piece [VIDEO], and some unknown Mycah Williams [VIDEO] who literally jumps off a building a clip before.
I don't mind seeing anything twice as I rewatch parts everyday (Omar Salazar's First love part comes to mind [VIDEO]) but it adds unnecessary posts to the sub and takes away from new things that would be awesome to see. Not only that it shows lack of participation and posting something just to post.
