Dern Brothers Spot History episode 19 on the Skyline 20 stair in San Diego. They go over past clips at the spot and interview Tommy Sandoval on location.
Why skaters like it
Linked in a thread on Tommy Sandoval's frontside flip down the 20 as background on what has gone down at the stair. Also a first for the series, with the interview done at the spot.

Here's the Spot History of this spot featuring Tommy from the Dern Bros [VIDEO]
I actually have a problem with the methodology they used to calculate the length of this set in this video. Please correct me if I'm wrong. They added a step to the length when calculating the length of this set. If each step is 11" x 19 stairs (you don't count the top stair when calculating length). **This set is actually 209 in = 17' 5" long.** **They even say, they are multiplying by 20 only because "it would be impossible to land that close"** or something... it's about 4min 10 sec into the video: [VIDEO] Now, I'm not sure how accurate **any** of the numbers are for sure, but if they did add an arbitrary 11" to this measurement and this was not done for El Toro... The real comparison would be: * **El Toro = 9'6" high and 19' long** * **Skyline = 9'9" high and 17'5" long** **...** NOTE: I watched the Dern Brothers video from El Toro and sadly they did not measure the set.
