If you go on my post history you’ll see that I ride tiny board, it’s not quite penny board small but it’s a 6.5 in with and it’s about 2 inches shorter than a normal board. I skate with people who all ride normal board and we all mostly do the same flip tricks, same grinds, I even skate stair on my little board. It’s all up to the rider.
