Why skaters like it

Old school skaters link it as early proof of reverts and nosedrives when modern tricks come up in threads.

I'm pretty old school (first board May 8th 1988) but this gif reminded me of a skater named Chris Hall from back in the day (1990, actually). He was a pioneer of street styled reverts in the beginning of the flatland/pressure flip/super tech/super slow era. If you watch the video, you can see him do a similar trick inside at the skating rink of the slider box. I used to do a similar trick, both regular and switch, but without the extra 180 varial. Check out the video though, it's a good (quick) watch, and see if you see roots for some new tricks. [VIDEO]

In the early 90's a nosedrive was when you landed your trick (almost like you are going in to a nose manual) and pivot backside. @.25 [VIDEO]
