Highlights from the second annual Slappy Slalom in Denver, 2013, a local jam where skaters slappy curbs and parking blocks and power slide through a course. Put on by the Motts and filmed by TGI Denver.
Why skaters like it
Part of a Denver event series people trace from the first slalom in 2012 through later editions. A fun look at local slappy culture growing over the years.

Slappy Ending - 2015 [VIDEO] Slappy Slalom III - 2014 [VIDEO] Slappy Seconds - 2013 [VIDEO] Slappy Slalom - 2012 [VIDEO] It's kind of fun seeing the evolution of this event from its humble beginnings. The first one just had several parking blocks placed on a road, with a launch ramp at the end. For the second one, people brought some modest homemade obstacles to add to the mix of curbs. The third one had more crazy and classic obstacles, like a curb teeter totter, a pvc slider, and a car. This last one included more insane obstacles.
